You may find that you will need a bigger carb, but it should be ok. Maybe a porting job on the heads too. It doesn't sound too big, but I tend to be a little conservative on decisions at times. I should give you a nice bit of top end. What's the lobe separation on it? I'm too lazy to do the research.

Not to much at all. With 106LCs it will be a rumpty rumpty little cam. With those heads you are easily good to the low [email protected] range.

yes, that cam will match your combo just fine, better than the (what i assume is) the old comp 272. Like prodigy said at 106 it will be a loping idle and have a lot of snappy of the line torque. Are you sure the LSA is 106 or is that the ICA? Personally I would ditch those heads or have them ported. THey aren't any better than a set of stock double hump heads. But if thats all you can have, they are still better than a run of the mill stock smog head, or just a non performance stock head

Just thought I mention that I am already running that EXACT cam in a 68 nova. The car has a 4-speed and 3.08 gears, with a set of old double humps and about 10 to 1 comp. and it runs a low 13 sec. quarter. I ran another cam that was a little bigger and the motor did'nt seem to run as good or wrap up as fast. I LOVE THIS CAM it is great. Run it and you won't be sorry. :bananna2:
