I want my car to sit just like this...

But my tires sit on the inner fender wells holding the car from lowering down more ( I have Air Ride Shockwaves with 2" dropped spindles, with 18x8 wheels) If I do the Guldstrand mod will it pull the tops of my tires while sitting still?
Here is mine all the way down resting on the inner fenders...

A lot of guys just remove the inners but you can clearance them for more room. Its a bit of work but well worth the look I think.

How do you do that?

You can cut out the section that is hitting till you get full clearance all around and then add the metal to close it up.

Car looks low enough to me. How about some rocker extensions and disc brakes on the back. That is where I would spend my money on your car.

A Gulstrand mod will not change the camber sitting still, that is built into the alighnment. However, a Gulstrand mod will make the camber curve more aggresive and will pull the tops of the tires in when the suspension compresses (RE; hits a bump) helping clear inner fenders. But your pretty low right now. Gulstrand mod, tall spindle, tall bal joint will all help here, pick your poison, the g Mod is free.

How much camber does it have? Have you had it aligned? The shop should have given you the specs. .5 to 1 degree at ride height will help a bunch.

I am at -1 camber at ride height which is about 2" taller than in the pictures. I do not have a probelm driving, just when parked I want to go a little lower but cant. I should probably shut up and be happy!

I am definately going to do the gulstrand mod, I can do it on the car with the rim and tire off, and remove the upper control arm right?

I cut out the small portion where the tires were rubbing the inner fenders, and it worked great! now the car sits like I want, and I have a lower ride height if I choose. Thanks for all the help!

The first picture is slammed down while stopped. The second you can see just behind the battery where I clearanced the inner fender well (still need to clean it up, and add pinch molding just in case) and the third is the new ride height at 50psi.

So do you still have enough clearance for full suspension travel when it's at ride height?

It doesnt rub, and has a great ride.

If you are looking for metal to fix the areas you removed, I've found that cutting up a wheelbarrow tub works well. There's loads of pressed in bends that can be made to fit the shape you need.

^^^
I don't doubt that it works, it is just too funny to me though.

I know it is "real" hot rodding and all, but, a wheelbarrow, on a muscle car, it makes me laugh, but gives me ideas at the same time.

The low rider guys use trailer fenders since the radius is already there.
