I have an LT1/T56, that I'd like to drop into my 69 Camaro. I heard it was a "fairly" simple install. I know I'll need to change or modify my cross member, and get the wiring harness modified, or buy an aftermarket harness for it. Of course, I'll need to use a different fuel pump & fuel lines, and get the driveshaft modified. I noticed that the 69 motor mounts don't exactly line up. Is this normal? I've thought about using the T56 with my carborated 350, but I would have to change my flywheel to do this. Any recommendations?
