Chris delivered my car today and it looks awesome! He has had it since Aug and has put a ton of time into it! The gaps, and panel fitment are increadably nice. Also we did a three piece spoiler w/ brake light. There are many little things he did to tighten up the lines of the car and all those hours of block sanding really payed off! After I assemble the car I will take it back to him for a final round of polishing...right now it's very nice...but he'll give it the 'show worthy' polish! It was dark out by the time we got it unloaded, so garage pics will have to do! :)

Thanks guys! I'm still smiling and probably will for quite some time!!

The motor is at the machine shop, not totally sure when it will be home.

How much is it lowered? A lot!! :) Actually I didn't measure before I started in on the project...anyone have a base number?

Thanks again for all the kind words guys, and yes it has been a LONG time coming!!

I'm going to try and get some outdoor shots this weekend...if it stops raining long enough!

Took some outdoor pics yeasterday before I hosed off the rest of the polishing compound and spray mask that was on the black surfaces. It started raining before I could get any shots after it was all cleaned up so these will have to do.

The deck lid isn't closed all the way making the spoiler gaps larger than they really are.

Awesome! I love the wheels, I've been looking at Ruff 281's that are very similar to those but can't find anyone that has them the right backspacing.

I just saw the inside shots - that dash mod turned out nice! It looks like it could've been factory. (I still would love to do that to mine one day)

Anthony, great looking project!!

Can you tell us a little about that spoiler with the third brake light. My friend is building a 69 and was talking about trying to incorporate a third light in the spoiler maybe you can shed some light on how to go about doing it.

Thanks.

You will have to talk with Chris from Race Rodz about the brake light...that was his deal. Here's his email.

Where in Oregon you guys located at Anthony? Is Race Rodz just a bodyshop or do they do other "types" of work as well?

Car is looking nice by the way!!!! Keep up the good work guys

Sick Anthony, just sick. I must confess.....I LOOOVVVE seeing '67s and '68s get attention like this. The '69 people have their own little club and I like to think that we got ourselves one too. LOL!!!

I'm in Hillsboro and Race Rodz is in Medford. Chris likes to do more fab work...but as you can see he can do body/paint work as well. He's starting the metal work on Ned's Cuda this week!!

Aren't you in Newberg?

I have no doubt that it will show when the car is completed, the stance and wheels combo definitely show that you have thought it out, the color is definately a timeless color and since its a solid color you dont have to worry about any fads, its been a long time coming you said but you can tell that it is definately worth the time and effort
