Car's been a racecar since 1979 (originally a '67 RS 6 cylinder, was stolen directly off the dealers lot in '67). Has a ton of history, multi time track champ and was the world champ in '85 I believe (the year before I was born haha). I've known it since I was about 12, our buddy had it. We had always liked the car then in April of '06 he had it for sale, we showed interest and he was glad we wanted the car and bam it was mine. I got it with a NASTY maroon paint job (it was painted by a guy in the NHRA hall of fame and everyone I talk to that knew it when it was painted said the car was killer). Spent about 6 months on getting everything ready for paint. Kicked the quarters out at the bottom where the wheels go so the wheel well would look stock. Went out my second weekend and got a runner up in a 8 freaking round race.

Anyway, enough of me blabbering.

I know it's a picture book but I love the cars on this site and I'm really proud of mine so I thought i'd share, I'm 21 years old and me and my dad had to do a lot of the work (couldn't tell you how many hours I spent just filling pinholes) and we had a lot of help from friends.

This winter it's getting a 548 (should put it in the 8's), the rear wheels to match and the rear end will get narrowed more... Plus I'll finally get the front headlight doors installed :banghead:. I got some action shots as well if anyone's curious.

Thanks for listening and sorry for the length haha... Also wish I would've taken better pictures.
