drop leafs mono to muti shock ?

I got a mono leaf with traction bars on the car now But Im putting dse multi leaf 2" drop leafs on the car and I bought lower shock plates with the shock mounts on em being the traction bars are getting chunked am I gonna need to buy multi leaf shocks as well?arent they longer? or would the 2" drop cancel out the difference. I already have new shocks but If I gotta get another set than so be it.

According to the Monroe catalog they are the same.

maybe the difference I was thinking about was between the staggered and horizontal I know the ones on the 69 we were working on a bit back looked longer maybe not
