I searched the forums and could not find any definite answers for this:

Which port is which on the C5 Corvette master cylinder? Is the front port for the front brakes and the rear port for the rear brakes or vice versa?

I know there is a lot of discussion on the "correct" size brake lines, but does anyone know what size lines the C5 Corvettes use?

Thanks in advance.

The front section and port of the C5 master cylinder is for the rear brakes as it has the smaller reservoir, the rear port is where your front brake lines will connect and as you will notice it has the larger of the two reservoirs.

As far as brake line's I've read 3/16" and then 1/4" going from the master to the front split in the lines, but then again I haven't personally installed my brakes yet and many people seem to do different things, although I'm sure you know you'll need smaller lines than OEM to the rear or the entire car if it was all wheel drum as discs require higher pressure and lower volume unlike drums.
