ok, ive got way too much sidewall on my car to handle decent, so im beginning to think about a wheel and tire swap. first thought was 17 inch steelies or rallyes, but then cragars, torque thrusts, mini lites, etc came to mind.
main goal is to pick a wheel you think compliments the vintage/stockish appearance of the car, in no greater than 17 inch, and show me the result as i cant visualize anything different than the 15's that have been on it for the last 10 years.
lowering it a little is an option as well, as are somewhat shorter tires all around. so do what you think looks good.
thanks for the help.

Try a set of grey center salt flats and drop it about 4".
I have no photochop skills, so that is just an idea!

I wanted to use this idea but I couldn't find any salt flats that were suitable for a chop :dunno: ..... So I thru some Boze Forged on it :twothumbs
I know its not what you wanted but I was bored. I'll keep looking for some "stock looking" wheels........

thats exactly what i am considering for the nova...it allows the car to maintain the stock-ish look but allows you to run bigger breaks and gives it a meaner look...ive decided that a duster will probly be the next project...it looks awsome!

American Racing makes a 17" Ansen slot. It would definitely have a period look, plus I haven't seen them on another car.

been looking around, and after seeing a truck here in town on 17 inch cragar SS wheels, got to thinking about those. was wonderin if someone could do another chop for the cragars and a little higher ride height. no way i can go that low without raising the drivetrain. about 1-1.5 lower than it is now will be max for decent drivibility.
thanks guys.

i take it theres no love for the cragar SS?
hopefully ill get the chrysler sold in the next few weeks, so i can order the wheels. still wont have money for tires, but at least ill have the wheels. how wrong would it be for me to use used tires for right now?
