I have my wheels just about figured out, next are the tires.

Anyone rollin' on Goodyear F1s?

I am considering them for the agressive tread and the fact that they come in a the widths and 40 sidewall that I want.

I originally wanted the BFG KDW2s but they don't make the size I want.

I don't run them, but the tech guy at Tire Rack raved about them. K ended up getting a screamin' a deal on a set of the BFG KDWs from a private party who didn't need them, but the Goodyears we high on my list until then.

I ran them on my daily driver for 3 years, and loved them. Handled great, wore well, and stuck pretty darn good.

I put a set of 19" D3s on my Super Coupe this summer. I'm very impressed so far, smooth ride, quiet, lots of grip, awesome in the wet. We bolted them on a friend's 07 Mustang to use at a (very cold and mostly wet) track day at Mosport, grip there was impressive for a street tire.

cheers

I have a set on my 30th TA. They offer great performance, but they are pretty soft and wear accordingly. As mentioned they above they do a good job in the rain too. If they aren't going on a daily driver, they're great tires! Picey though: $250-400 a piece. I'll probably put a set on '69 as well.
