Well the first stage of my build is done. The project design was completed by Pete Chacon of www.devallegraphics.com (http://www.devallegraphics.com/) I think it came out great. After my deployment is complete and I spend some well deserved time with the familiy I will tear into this either late fall or early winter. You guys have me motivated none the less so keep the projects flowing and check my buddy Pete out.
Thanks & Support the troops!!:twothumbs

I am still in the planning phase but so far the major parts are as follows:
BBB 455 w/Aluminum Heads and maybe EFI set-up from TA Performance
Air Ride Suspension
TKO 600 or Richmond 5 Speed w/OD
Ford 9'' Rear w/3:43 ears
Wheels--Either TTII or Intro
Hopefully by the end of next winter I will have the frame completely rebuilt and boxed with the above mentioned parts. That will be the second Phase.

That's my favorite part, keeping it Buick powered!
Great project, look forward to pics of your progress next year. Have a safe trip back.

I like the similarity to Smokey Yunicks's paint scheme. Rendering is awesome.

I am up on V8buick.com and chevelles.com also...same screen name. These sites keep me motivated until I come home. Besides if I knock all me research out now I think I will be better off.

I am in the military too and being on deployments really is a blessing in disguise. You get all the time to plan and save up money as there are limited places to spend it over there.
The time is nice because you don't just go out and purchase stuff and have the time to think about how stuff is going to work together.
I actually look forward to deployments, actually for a host of reasons like not having to train anymore an do something.
Have a safe return and get on that Buick!

Somebody asked me the other day if I was ready to go and the wife was right there. Without thinking I said, "Oh hell yes." Without missing a beat I quickly added, "because I can't wait to get back to my family already."
She would have been pissed if she knew I was ready to go so I could go make the money to finish the 'cuda.
I leave in Feb and will miss my family but you gotta go make that good pay.
