1969 camaro convertible Hotchins subframe connectors
Has anyone tried these new subframe connectors that are made for a convertible. They advertise that they will fit a convertible with no cutting up the bottom of the car. How do they compair with DSE that you weld in. I will only be using a LS1 with no upgrades and 335 tires on the back but I would prefer not to cut up the bottom of the car if these will work. What will be the major diff between these and DSE they look nice on the pictures.
Thanks Bryan

The Hotchkis work excellent, have used them many times. The DSE are a lot better for ground clearance, but do come into the floor space and require a lot more cutting and welding. On full builds, we use a lot of DSE. On complete cars needing frame connectors, we like the Hotchkis as you do not have to remove the interior to do them.

Should you decide on either one, we have them both. Hotchkis is on a killer special right now through GPSuperStore.com with some great savings until Dec 31
