I am new to the forum. The reason I joined is I have aquired a 1968 camaro that I plan on making into a protouring car. The car is in overall good condition. The original floor and trunk are in amazing shape. the entire undercarriage is great. It will need a few little patches in the quarter area, but very small.
So, my plan for the next year or two will be to get all of the body work done. I want to try and get the body and paint done within the year. I then plan to install an LT-1 with a 6 speed from a corvette. I will probably rebuild the suspension, not sure if I will go with a suspension kit just yet. then eventually go with a set of 17 or 18 torq thrust wheels.
