20x10???

anyone running 20x10's on the rear of their 69 camaro? if so, what size tires are you using? also, please post pictures.

I would love to hear if and what backpacing and offset would work... I have a 67 bird and want 20/10's in the rear so bad.

I am thinking of 20x10's with 5.75BS and 285-35 or 275-35 tires.
I have 12" of space in my wheel tub.

It's tight but it must fit!?

20's work but very tight. The wheels I just test fitted on my69 camaro had 6 inch back spacing. Tire size was 275/40zr20. I simulated a change in the suspension by placing a 3 inch block on one side and lowered it down. It came very close to rubbing inside. So much so that I'd recommend a 9.5 rim. I may even go with an 8.5 for myself.

A 20x10 will work. I have done it with a 5.75" backspace, and a 285/30/20. A 275/35/20.
