Thinking of a manually shifted 4l80e does some one make a shifter for it ? A buddy and I bought a mega shifter and tried the shift points and they do not match up. If you adjust it in park and start going through the gears it does not match up once you start 1-4 and if you adjust it at the end 4-1 and then the r-park does not match.
We did not hook it up just used a vise grip to lock the bracket holding the cable and adjusted the end to match the 4l80's hook up point it the selector arm.
Any help would be appreciated.

I know, I know but what about the guys that want a working floor shifter and a manual one at that.
Paddle shifter are great but I really like the floor shifter and would really like a 4l80e. Like the quadzilla http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4l80e.htm

Please help.

Are you using a four speed shifter or a 3 speed shifter? I would think that the one for a 700r4 would work.

Lokar and B&M make numerous 4L80E compatible shifters and linkage kits.

I can't imagine giving up the programmability of the 80E to go fully manual - won't you get sick of it? At least with the paddle shifter you can turn it back to regular auto with the flick of a switch...

I think if you go full manual you lose the lockup ability too, so more heat and less mileage as well.
