We had a few new guys come along on our re-vamped Cruise the Crest, which turned out to be Cruise the Coast due to icy roads. We drove to Paradise Cove Cafe which is right on the beach in Malibu. To say that the weather was perfect for this time of year is an understatement.

We had five cars total, two new ones in the group, one being a really nice '71 SS454 Chevelle and the other a sweet ZR1.

How would we sum up the day? We couldn't decide which was more appropriate, watching the school of porpoise swim by the beach, or our needing to put sunglasses on during breakfast since the sun was so bright. What a rough life!

I'm game for doing this again next month. January 19 or 20 anyone? (EDIT: New thread started in Western States)

I urge anyone who wants to come along to do so. PT cars or not. These events are good for enjoying our cars and BSing with each other in person.

Was an amazing day.

I missed the Audi. Saw lots of great cars on PCH though.

The 8 series Bimmer was cool too, but all I could think was "Is he gonna drive it more than 8 miles?".:spank2:

Oh and for the "it's too far" crowd, 196 miles round trip fro me. COME ON OUT!

Or the Porche Carrera GT turning up Las Virgenes, following a yellow Ferrari. There's never a shortage of supercars on nice days.

Yes, I heard you!

A couple of days too late ... drove to Vegas from Salinas yesterday and from there, to Van Nuys last night. Looked at my cars at Copart this am and am home now.

You guys picked some great weather for The Breakfast Club as it was raining this am. Sucked crawling all over and under the wrecks in it ...

Cheers,
Mary Pozzi

I'm out today wearing shorts and flip flops driving the '67. Reading some of these posts really makes me appreciate where I am. Although, I doubt you Mid-Westerners have to deal with almost $2K a month to rent a tiny house with a 1 car garage.
