Sounds like a text-book vacuum leak to me

well after spending 220$ on a valve job milling the heads flat and new z28 springs got my heads back i think my problem was a vacuum leak because the intake gaskets were trashed when i pulled them so i did a little research seems alot of people with vortec trucks are having problems with the stock gaskets i was wondering if anyone here has used the fel pro gasket #1255 with any success?

the fel-pros are better--they have a metal sleeve at the bolts to limit crush. the most important thing is to properly torque the bolts to the right 3-stage values and the right order.

Put the pics on a photo web site. webshots or photo bucket. Just follow the instructions it's real easy. Once your pics are on the web;

Get the pic up on your screen after you have put it on the web and right click to open an option box.
Left click properties (last one down).
Highlight & copy URL (will end in jpeg, normally third option down)
Now put https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif where you want the pic in the thread your posting in.
put your saved URL between the https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif
e.g. https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (with no gaps)
Post reply and the pic should be there.
