Any events with lots of Pro touring rides in May 2008?

I am from the Netherlands and with a friend of mine I want to visit in 2008 some good car shows where we can find lots of pro-touring rides.
We are looking for a start in LA around the first weekend of May and can stay a maximum of 2 weeks (up to the 18th of May).

Anyone any good suggestions?

From April 28th till May 8th we will be in LA.

Any good shows, cruise nights or other we must visit?

Hello, My girlfriend has family in Leiderdorp, and we were there 2 years ago.
I took a look on the web and found this list of events. http://www.socalcarculture.com/events.html

but its on the 27th of April.
if you could come 1 week earlier the Pomona Swap Meet is on the 20th of April its HUGE! Thousands of cars.

I have not been to very many of those shows, but the "Twilight cruise night" at the NHRA museum in Pomona had a good turn out the last time I went. Plus the museum is open and free, and full of cool race cars from the past. its on May 7th

I would be glad to meet up with you and show you my car. I go to Bobs Big Boy in Taluca Lake on Friday nights ( sometimes ) and there's a lot of nice cars there most of the time.http://www.aeclassic.com/bobs/index.html

Get a nice rental car, LA is BIG, and spread out, but gas is only about $3.60 a gallon ( for the cheap stuff ) so it will seem inexpensive to you.
