does anyone know if any companys make AN weld-in fittings and bulkheads in stainless steel?
I'd need some AN-6 and some AN-10 or AN-12 for gas tank fabrication.

thanks!

Andre

I never could find any. I ended up welding in ss pipe fittings and then used NPT-AN adapters.

Try a Parker store, or another industrial hydraulic distributor.

This is the joint right here. Godman Hi Performance, they carry all kinds of SS AN fittings, but they will cost you a pretty penny. Hope this helps you out!

If you can't find weld in fittings, take a tube to tube fitting, cut one end off and weld the other?

There is a company that sells them, but I cannot remember what it is called. It is on my favorites on mywork computer. They sell everything. I have to reorder brake line fitting tommorrow.

thanks guys!
I'll look into the Goodman page and see if they have what I need.
in the meantime I've found that Isa Racing in Germany have them but in AN-6 AN-8 only.

I want to build a tank that for now will be used for a carbed smallblock but I want it to be ready for a carbed or EFI smallblock with around 7-800HP in case I ever get rich.
What size fittings should I use? my idea was 2x AN-6 (one vent and one return) and then one AN-10 for fuel.

i must be blind, can't find weld fittings in stainless on JDA site, only stainless adapters which would have to be cut. Max size is also dash 12 :( I need 16 for my dry sump stuff...dang!

Marine filler caps..... remember to make vent on the tank, these are water tight/ sealed.

yeah I will have a vent with a rollover valve.

I know all about not vented tanks, several years ago I changed the gas cap because the old one leaked, I managed to get a non vented cap and after about 50km the tank was flat. :o)
