That intake looks nasty (in a good way).

looks great, but i do not think you will ever get the steering correct with how the rack is mounted, it might steer, and drive but not nearly correct

Most of these pics are just mockup/clearance checks- dealing with trying to keep the motor low, front pick up on ford and rack/ pick up points from a c5. The rack mount has been raised.

Good to hear that the rack issues have been settled. While the rack mount was a issue, my major concern would be front suspension geometry in relation to the upper control arms.

It might be the photo, but it appeares that the lower control arms are basically horizontal while the upper control arms are pointing up towards the engine.

Is this correct?

Also, is that a chassis of your own design?

bob, the pickup points came straight fom a c5
we looked into an AME chassis but didnt want to set the motor back in a cave...form over function I know but the motor for this car needs all the space we can get. see above pic...
So the rack is now just above the lowers , spindle arm cut off and a new made that keeps them in in plane with the lower.
The frame is based on AME 4 link rear w/c5 front.

Working out some master cylinder fit issues, having to go from a single to two small tiltons. Motor is on dyno this week. Have found a person to make some sheet metal valve covers for a cammer to match the intake. The electromotive system for this motor is in too and should be cool, no dist upfront to run air intake around!
