Here is a pic of the GM progressive rate bump stops installed on a 68 Camaro. Thanks to Mark at SCC for turning me on to these.

You can get these from your GM dealer.
I believe Mark said they were stock on S-10s and GMC small trucks.

You are right Sir.
Thanks for posting.

I have yet to try these out but they just make good sense.

What about the cushion mounts? Are they weld or bolt on?

They are bolted to the control arm.

How about the set up as pictures here. The metal pocket is bolted to the frame? Is it included with the cushion? thanks

Yes the cushions come mounted in a steel cup with a 5/16 stud for mounting.

Sorry misunderstood the first time.

Do you know how tall they are?

The bumper is 2-3/4" from the bottom of the steel cup to the top of the cone. The stud is 3/8-16 and extends just over 11/16" (.70") from the bottom of the cup.

The urethane (or whatever it is) bumper is locked into the steel cup by three tangs that are pressed inward. You may have to grind the lip on the steel cup a little to keep it from interfering with some coil springs.

Do these work well/okay in a factory LCA application?

Well I am not going to pick on you here. But they are stock and the 2Gen ZQ8 s10 Pick Up with factory stamped lower control arms. I even used them on my 1st Gen s10 and they worked great.

The question is will they work for your application. Most likly

opps - here is the link to buy them

I should have been more specific. I mean for a stock LCA in a '67-'69 Camaro, Firebird or '68-'74 Nova. The OP shows aftermarket LCAs with the bump attached to the frame. I'm thinking about a stock LCA with the bump attached to the LCA. Overall it seems pretty tall for this though?
