Hi, I hope someone can give me some pointers on wheel fitment. I am considering putting LS1 brakes on my 65 GTO. I have all the stuff on hand. Wheel selection is kinda holding me back.What period correct style wheels would clear the LS1 brakes and what backspacing would be needed?
It seems the TTII's have problems clearing the caliper face without spacers. I don't really want to space the wheels out any more. They will be approx. 3/8" out do to the disc swap.
To throw another kink in the works. I would like to run 16" wheels. Not the smart choice I know. 17's look a little too big for my taste. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks, Murf
