Now, to begin the rust repair process. It was in AMAZING condition, rust-wise. I have new floor pans to install, which I SHOULD knock out this weekend. Then, the battery tray, a small patch about 2"x2" near the steering column hole, and I need to replace a new right rear quarter panel. I need to find a passenger side door pillar post, as I was hit long ago, badly damaging it. All of these are easily repairable. Well, except the rear quarter...the color is almost exactly the same as that of the primer on it now..kinda weird, as I was talking to my buds when we went to go pick it up, and they asked what color I was going with, and I pulled into the parking lot and I saw it sitting there, all greenish. I pointed, and said, "THAT color!" As we inspected the car, there was a spot that was covered by the rotisserie mount that did not get stripped. It was the original paint. The primer matched it almost identically. weird! I'll keep ya'all pos

thats a whole lot better body than the 68 convertable that I am doing for a customer now what drive train and suspension are you going to run.,

I have a 1966 289 block, which I stroking to a 500 HP 347. I have a race prepped C-5 auto, but, I THINK I might try a 4 speed manual...suspension is going to be mostly stock, I have the new SSBC disc brake conversion, and everything else underneath is brand new. Nothing special, besides the "Shelby" drop, reverse eye leafs out back. Need a 9 inch. I have an 8 inch, but I think its not going to last long under the amount of power I am going to have, so...
