Hey guys , ok I know this has been discussed here before so don't give me that silent threat scrap... :jump: im looking into the possibility of making my 16" GTA rims into 17" or 18"s... I really wanna use the rims and haven't found anything even close to use instead. Anyone know of a company that does this???? thanks in advance. Vince

Hmmm, they would have to add material to the patern in the center. I'm sure there is some company that could do it, but it's would probably cost an arm and a leg. I would almost think that having the design entered into a CAD program, enlarged to the desired diameter then having a one off set made would be less expensive.

That's how my 17" Ralleys are made. They're 15" centers on 17" hoops. Maybe contact Wheel vintiques (manufacturer) and see if they can help you out?

Vince, give Stockton Wheel a call. I don't remember what the pricing is, or if anyone has had any issues with them, but they should be able to help you out. Oh, and they're in Stockton.
why spend so much money on such a simple wheel?? if i recall all they are is a honeycomb/BBK looking wheel, there are many other aftermarekt companies that sell wheels that kinda look like those, why not buy some like that, i am sure people would be able to tell what you are trying to do. P.S. what are they going on? the 84? if so i don't think GTA wheels would be such a necessary thing to use on a camaro

its for my co-workers 89 GTA, he whants to do it up and run larger rims. I mentioned BBS or similar but he didn't see a style he liked. He's very particular. Gina's 84' already has Katz's 17's on it. She loves them. Vince hey im moving. :crying:

Ralph, when did you decide to use Ralley wheels? And, if you use billet ralleys, they use a larger center section. If you buy steel ralleys, they use the center section from a 15" wheel, and use a 17" hoop that is stepped quite a bit. It's all there at the Wheel Vintiques website.

Johnny,
The Ralleys are just temporary rollers, I got them from Steevo. They are the 17" Steel ralleys from Wheel Vintiques, I think they are actually the first set ever made.
Fantom will be getting 18" Kinesis wheels.

David,
One of the centers is cut out, so that it can be moved with a Mallet to get perfect backspacing measurments. So you'd need another 17x8 up front. ---> :offtopic: Sorry Vince!
