I love my Valentine 1.
Has anyone installed a hard wired (concealed) remote radar detector?
What are our options?

I've had one for 6-7 years and has saved me 100's of times. I have a trooper friend here in Va. Their not legal here! He tested it against his VG-2 detector. Side by side touching. he couldn't detect it. After following me home across the state after a hunting trip he said he was going to get one!!!!!

There are remote mount detectors. Expensive though almost $700. I thought it would be real clean because u could mount one in the grille and for the back i saw a kit that was literally the license plate bracket! I really wanted it cause then u could just run some leds to just about anywhere on the dash!

i have put in quite a few k40 undetectables(700sw,etc),,yes, they are expensive but if concealed is the goal then the cost does not matter,,they offer: front only, front and rear, and front-rear-laser,,,all of them went in to german cars,,,the owners all told me they loved them and they saved their butts, many times
