Greetings all.

I just received my C5 brake kit from Touring Classics and am all excited to get it installed. However it appears that the wheels I'm looking at are 6-8 weeks away (hopefully less...I still need to check with Noel at Touring Classics on his lead times). So, I would like to put on some cheap wheels that would allow me to at least roll the car (a '69 Firebird) around the garage.

Anyone know of any potential junkyard candidates that I could look for?

Cheers,
Ken

04+ GTO spare tires. I found a set, cost me $25 each.

I like the idea of the GTO spares, unfortunately I'm in Canada and we never got the GTO here.

Drat!

im sure any spare tire from a newer chevrolet car with same bolt pattern would work..i caint pin point what would work since im not a newer chevy guy, but i know some people that have the old 32 fords and want the steel look in a 17" rim they use a 03+ cobra spare rim..

this is just an idea but im sure you could find something

i just ended up buying boyds junk yard dog in a 18" to clear me brakes because everyone is alteast 6-8" weeks out, but since x-mas i bet your probably looking at 2 months..

so the boyds will do until i can build what i want...good luck
