Im working on a 70 chevelle and Im in a bit of a dispute with the customer on how the fender liners go. Do they go on the outside of the fender Or do they go on the inside so you see all of the fender once installed. They look better to me on the inside but he is saying the outside. So which is it?

I'm pretty sure its outside. Those nut clip things attach to the actual fender, and then the inner fender gets bolted to the fender, so you will see it partially.

Yup...they go on the outside of the fender. That's why it's so much easier to replace a heater core on a chevelle then it is on a Camaro!

I got em on the outside now they looked so much better to me on the inside though ohh well I got him straight now and aftermarket fender liners suck and the fenders to for that matter a lot of cutting, welding and hole re drilling. he should of got goodmark stuff.

Outside and trust me, they all fit like crap. I'm going to have to do alot of work to make them fit the way I want.
