Have anyone had issues with ground clerance with coilovers? Or maybe had to get out and raise the car up to clear something. I'm going to us shockwaves in the front but was thinking about coilovers in the rear. I dont have alot of room under the back (after the mini tub)and maybe coilovers will save a few dollars. I was thinking the front is the most important for not hitting anythings. But I see alot of projects that have coilovers on all corners & still sits mighty low or are they just that way for pics.

I have adjustable coils on all four corners. I have about 5.5" to 6" of ground clearance at the front spoiler, front cross member, and exhaust collector flanges. I have scraped my spoiler three times now. One time was hard braking into a turn and hit a dip, this was a scrap on the spoiler. Another time was pulling out of a steep parking lot again scraping the spoiler. Once pulling into a parking lot that dipped down pretty bad I had a 260+ lbs. passenger with me at the time. I didn't notice it soon enough, it was raining.... I try to avoid speed bumps and steep driveways now. The first two scrapes happend when I had the car set at about 5" of ground clearance at the spoiler. I have never scraped the cross membler or exhaust collector flanges. I also back into parking spots so I don't hit any curbs or parking blocks.

I like the car. I have 6 inches of clearance now but I would like to be lower. I will have to change the exhaust to an oval shape exhaust also. I came you with trying to fab a coilover rear & air ride tech front. My lowest point is the exhaust & the crossmember under the engine. So I think the front needs to more adjustable at my fingertips. I would think 5 inches would be plenty but maybe not.
