Ive got 6 spots for 2 5/8 gauges and I was thinking id put in a air/fuel ratio gauge. ANd because it would help me tune my car better. My question is, what should I go with? and is it worth it to do this?

thanks
Jesse

LM1 or pro logger set up. Yes it is as it will show you your A/F ratio right through a run. It will help you fine tune the carb and let you know of any potential problems. Unless you shut off immidiately you finish a run reading the plugs is a waste of time.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Make sure that you look at the true wideband setups, as some (like the old Edelbrock setup) are really narrowband. If it's too cheap it's probably narrowband.
The Innovate products are nice. (LM-1 and LC-1) You'll probably want to get the LC-1 instead of the LM-1, since the LM-1 has a control box with a digital readout, so it's a little bulky, while the LC-1 has the controller built into the cable, and can be purchased in a kit with a gauge.

Zeitronix makes good widebands also

FJO makes the best widebands in my opinion.

The lc-1 doesn't have any datalogging. I currently use an LM-1 with the LMA-3.Gives 5 channels plus air-fuel.I don't use a guage-try to keep my eyes on the road instead. The XD-16 guage looks pretty slick though.

I went with Fast dual Wideband O2 sensors, it has a logging feature as well. It came with a large meter that I will probably put in the glove box, but Stewart Warner makes a nice 2-1/16 A/F gauge that I can hook up to the analog output from the Fast.

That way I can have a small gauge to glance at when I am not actively tuning and I have all the features of the logger when I want, without the interior clutter.
