Here's what 2 inches would look like.

but tonyl's is what is should look like, put the side markers back in but remove that godawful trim from the side ... and reworking the stripe was a good idea too.

"Are you crazy, is that your problem?" lol
Thanks for the drops tony, I am liking 2 inches but how would clearance be with 2 and then maybe even a 3 inch drop? I drive my car daily so speed bumps are a concern. :( Since i dont have a lot of money i was looking at protouringFbody's kit, says it drops the car 1.5-2" not a lot unfortunatly.
Also if you would like to remove the side trim that would be fine, im really trying to get some good ideas. You can look at pictures of other peoples cars all day but looking at ones own is best i believe.
The strip makes it retro man! I am really having a difficult time with where i want to go body wise but i figure workign on the suspension and drivetrain is the best way to start.
Thanks again!

when i first saw this i thought it was too much but over the course of a day it is REALLY growing on me, maybe different rims but i love the lack of signals and LOWness of it. Makes it look more like a sports car than it already does:woot:

Looks great, but anymore than 2 inches and you may have problems or clearance issues w/bumps, lumps, and especially driveways that angle up/down. I have to back in/pull out of my driveway w/my 80 TA....

Shave the door handles, throw in some race seats, and pull off the blue line and paint it a nice pearl white with a nice staggered wheel setup that ride would be bitchin!

Car looks good at two inches, exspecialy with those honeycombs.
That was the best and worst movie ever.........ever.

Keep the stripe, lose the trim, shave the marker lights & add a rear spoiler. Then I think you'll be looking right.

larger wheels would make 2 inches appear lower than pizza cutters under a 2 inch drop do. what tonyl fixed about the stripe was the end of it because the one on the car makes no sense .. it just ends at some odd angle - other wise i don't see a point in changing it if you wanna keep it pretty much stock looking. The black wheels that got posted were pure sex for this car but i dunno about black on a white car with a blue stripe (i say blue cause i'm getting the impression it isn't gonna get changed) I think if you improved the suspension you wouldn't have to worry about clearance and bumps, especially if you just went with something like 17s and 245/45s or similar. they probably wouldn't be THAT much bigger all total than what's on there and there is plenty of bump room right now. you could even go more narrow in the front if you had rub problems. no biggie.

Wow, great work guys! I am loving this stuff!!
Seeing it now without the side trim helps solidify my thoughts about ripping it off. I really like how the car looks without it.
I like the shaved look but how does that work? remotes? The rims on the shaved car are too modern for me. (2nd one with blue front strip)
Those snowflakes are hardcore but id never be able to afford those unless i land a sweet internship in the coming years.
The black lined car with black rims definitly looks mean. If iwent black i would have to change my interior to white or black. however i am thinking smaller rims, those are what? 19" rims? they look huge!!
One of you that removed the trim could you do just a white car, no blue strip or trim but leave the chrome and drop it 2"? maybe put some torques on there? torques are cheap lol
THANKS AGAIN GUYS!! WOOT
Current color is "Cameo white"

wow. removing the stripe all together was brutal. TTIIs? Not as cheap as Coy's are. An in my humble opinion the coys look far better.

Coys are cool! i just wanted to see what a white car would look like. I reckon i could get a cheap but good looking white paint job since the car is already white. Then I wouldnt be embarressed driving around with nics in my car etc.

Not a bad idea. for a you could have your car looking like the chop above for about 1500 bucks if you're frugal enough.
Good luck!

Thanks a lot TonyL! i am really like the budgetness of it and how it still looks great ( to me)
