Well, they are stronger in all the right places than factory steel wheels. So long as you don't get the super light sprint car wheels, you should be okay.

Speak to the guys at aero, they need to be balanced a specific way.

I was talking to a race wheel manufacturer at Race-O-Roma last year. He said that most race wheels do not fit the center hub as tight as a street wheel and this will cause the wheel to loosen up over time on the street and he would be careful putting race wheels on a street car. I do not know if this is true or not. Randy

if that's true i'm in a whirl of trouble as i am using uni-lug appliance wheels and i know for sure the center hub on the wheel is a lot larger than the hub on the car. i'm trying to swap out these wheels to a set more reliable, i don't like the idea of having to use these spacers and special lugnuts so i figure the aero wheels would be the best, most awesome and cheap upgrade.

this camaro is a real daily driver (4 years running), it's driven everyday to school in san francisco, and once a week to class in oakland, and on the weekends i drive down to santa cruz, so it sees a lot of asphalt.
