Ok so this time I took a Camera along and took a few pics and vid with the video feature on a normal camera.

Today we had:
Carl SN:CarlC - 68 Camaro
Nick SN: 6'9"witha69 - 69 Camaro
Johnny SN:? - 68 Camaro
Myself - 68 Camaro
Mike SN: Mkelcy - Did a ride along as car is MIA atm.

Pretty funny going to an "event" (can we call it that?) where 69's are outnumbered. If Steve showed and Mike had his car working we would of had FIVE 68's!

We managed to increase our car count to 4 over last month. Hopefully we'll get more people interested in the future.

Newcombs is very popular with motorcyclists and the occasional exotics. When we came out we had generated a small crowd checking out the 1st gens.

So without further ado here are my crappy pics and vid...

Heading up. I'm third with Carl in the lead, Johhny, myself, and Nick

Here we are at Newcombers Ranch:

In this first pic, closest to farthest is Carl's car, Johnny's, mine, and Nicks.

Here are some vids. Again I caution you they were taken while I'm driving one handed using a still picture camera on video setting.

Humm, do I hear tire squeal?:yeah: That's a nice rear view mirror self-portrait Chad.

The weather could not have been any better. Coming back down was great except for the moron in the silver SUV who would not move over.

We need to make this a regular event. My seven year old son wants to come along next time.

Overall it was a blast. I need to wash my car before the next one and dial in a little more camber (0.4* was not cutting it).

That was a great morning. Thanks to Carl and Chad for the rides.

So, December 16 or 23? I need a target, or I'll never get to pulling the engine for the third time in a month and a half.

23rd may be too close to Christmas and it is also my Bday. 16th works better for me.

16th works best for me too.

I noticed I put down on my calendar some of the speed ventures track days they have the weekends of Dec 1st and Dec 8th. Anyoen going?

I realize I REALLY need better tires but might be fun going out regardless.

And a windshield protector! Perhaps we need to see about some sort of mudflaps especially for those with stickier tires.
