Hey whats up guys. Im looking for master cylinder and proportioning valve suggestions.
I currently have a 73' Nova with superior 2" drop spindles that take on factory style mid 80's Camaro front disc brakes. Im in the process of going to a "Scarebird" setup in the rear that consists of El-Dorado calipers and Celebrity rotors, these are getting bolted up to a 9" Ford rear end. Now I dont have power brakes. I dont really want power brakes because the cam I run in my 350 is a 296/302, 258/[email protected] .562/.562 lift on a 108.Its a healthy little bugger and it wouldnt run power brakes at all. I also dont want to mod my firewall at all either. Is there anything that will work better than the old stock disc brake master cylinder that i have currently? Or should I just stick with it? Also what proportioning valve should I run? Any suggestions? Thanks guys......

The Wilwood 7/8" master cylinder might be a good choice. I'm going to use it with my C5 front calipers and LS1 rears.

Yup, the absolute best choice is the Wilwood 7/8 master and adjustable prop valve. About $240 will set you free.

So this Wilwood master cylinder, will it bolt right up? Does it have a a good pedal feel? Will I see an increase in braking performance over the stock? I know nothing about aftermarket brakes guys, but thanks for the suggestion.

It is a bolt on replacment. The Wilwood manual master fells like a light power assit almost depending on your exact brake set up.
