Smoothing a frame

Most of the cars I've done are tube race cars. I am currently building a 72 a-body. How are you guys smoothing the front of the frames on these cars. I guess only need to do the stuff you can see. Bondo would not be my first choice but I'm open for any suggestions and am looking for pics. Thanks Weldon 1972 Monte Carlo

ProMC1, on my web site I describe how I painted my chassis, and some pictures are with it. Anyway I wouldn't fill in where the factory welds are, just clean them up a little, but don't grind on them and weaken it. Try and do all of it you can, you will be pretty happy later that you did.
