2006 Corvette Z06 shows up in Detroit

Here is a link to a story from the Autoshow.... I am going tomorrow just to see this thing for myself..... If I get some good pictures I will post. I heard the GM guys talking about this thing on the radio today and the production car is intended to run with a dry sump, which they claim is a production car firs...?

It verifies the dry sump and they guess the price will be in the $75,000 range. Pricey for a vette but then again it should put alot of cars double,triple even more than that price on the trailer. 500hp from G.M. should be a real kick in the pants. :drive1: I never thought I would have the chance to buy a new vette with a 427 since I missed out back in '69(I was 11 years old at the time). The down side is in 1969 they were probably $6,000. If I can just convince Melinda that she really needs one of these..... :naughty:
