I'm looking at the Lincoln power mig 140T for some light duty welding. Mostly for sheet metal and exhaust work. The heaviest I'd go is 3/16" thick. This thing will do aluminum as well with a spool gun. I don't have 220/230 volt outlets in my garage so this looks like the most powerful 110/120v out there.

There's a good sale on them right now so anyone have any feedback? I want to stay with one of the big 3.

well I got a 135t and it worked fine for putting all the sheetmetal and pans in my car and I never had a problem with it.

Cool. I picked it up today for $499. I'll be doing similar metal repair as you as well as some exhaust work.
