I watch the Fox Report for my news in the evenings because I find Sheppard Smith to be damn funny. They have this very short, less than a minute in the 60 minute show, segment called the daily Britney. It's about her and all the crap that's going on with her. I hate celebrity worship. Despise it to the infinite degree. It's freaking pathetic that people in this country care so much what some celebutard does or thinks. People in this country actually care what a celebrity has to say about politics and global warming. It's rediculous and pathetic.
With that said, I do feel bad for the girl and others in similar situations. Not because of the things she has done, as she and others have done so many it's crazy and it is completely their fault. I feel bad for her because she can not do any one thing in public without having a lot of cameras hoping to catch her in some compromising position. Take for instance the clip they showed tonight on TV. She blew through a red light with the kids in the back seat while talking on her phone. Pretty damn stupid I'd say. However, she is sitting at a stop light minding her own business and the paparrazzi( I counted at least five) have swarmed her car and are snapping away with their cameras and video. She had done nothing at this point. To get away she just went on through the light. People were already stopped because of the flash bulbs going off and there was only a couple cars on the road anyway. I can't blame her for doing that. I'd be half tempted to run some of these f-ers down.
So yeah, while you won't find me screaming and crying into a video on youtube, I do think she deserves some privacy in her life. I also think just because you make a bunch of money selling music and giving concerts to the public, you do not owe the public anything beyond that. You are still entitled to your life away from the spotlight.
I know I couldn't handle having those creeps follow me everywhere. Anyone see that movie Mel Gibson did about the paparrazzi and the main character fought back? Yeah, that would be me.
Ok commence laughter.
