I have been checking back often to this site, www.clutchthemovie.com.

Anyone know what is going on with this? Release date, trailers, post production, anything?

I gotta know. Last entry is July of 2004.

*****UPDATE*****

From 1-19-05
Just read my response from Jay thanking me for the support as well as mentioning “how having a well-finished product is an important consideration for his fellow gearheads”. He went on to say, “Support from fans and enthusiasts like you contribute to the positive energy and forward progress”. He is hoping for a 2005 release.
And look, he’s thinking of us gearheads, like any other company producing quality products. Like the quality products we buy for our cars, this too will hold equal value for the mind.

Cars stuff... not for your car.

I had some contact with the guy about this time last year about having My band on the soundtrack. He said then it would be released over the summer...........last summer. I knew My band's CD wouldn't be ready by then.......(will be released in March).....so I lost contact. Hope He's able to finish it.

I brought this back up cause I posted something here about a year ago along with a couple of other sites. Not much response.

In addition I used the sponsor links to inquire about the movie but to no avail.

I also hit the email link a couple of time throughout last year with no response.

I sent Jay an E-mail last friday about how things were comming and this is part of what He sent back............

"Also, I just thought of something you guys may be able to help me with...
My meeting in California at the end of the month is with a very respected
individual in the film business. I went down last month to meet him in
person and things went well. For this next meeting, if I could show him a
stack of emails from enthusiasts that want to see this movie get done it
could show him the major interest out there for this indy film...If you
guys at protouring.com would be interested in sending me emails that I
could print up that would kick ass! Let me know if you'd want to get your
buddies- anyone and everyone, that would like to see CLUTCH finished- just
have them send an email to [email protected] just have 'em say that
they're anxious for this film to be done, they want to buy a copy-
whatever- in their own words, so I can use the emails to show the interest
in CLUTCH. Think you'd be up for that?"

He said He's shooting for a release this summer........putting the finishing touches on it now.

Let's help him out!!!!!!

I just sent an email... I'm just disappointed I didn't know he was shooting it in my neck of the woods (Seattle)... would've liked to have been involved, even as an extra...

My neighbors get enough of me. Got the yellow triangle sign out in front of the house by the road, you know with the car leaving squiggles suggesting its slippery. Burn out box right there every summer bam, lots of Mopar activity though, (Move Over Plymouth Approaching Rapidly) ha. Fun stuff

Conekiller, I would suspect that there is much interest from the motoring community to support the effort that Jay has put into this. High profile types that... oops look what I found $$$.

Sent emails out to many gearhead friends of mine. Man I am salivating. I watched Gone in 60sec. When it came out on vid at least once every couple of weeks.

I was hoping to see more replies of E-mails though. I think Jay's funding to get it finished is relying on showing potential investor's that a market exsists. :poke:

"I have recieved some nice emails, the spike in emails must have come from your posting and I appreciate that! Man, that's awesome you put the word out like that to have your friends post on other sites/ boards too. When this film is all buttoned up and ready to go I'm going to spend alot of time on the net myself, reaching out there to all the car enthusiast sites and clubs".

"All is well, I'm as anxious as always- but the good fortune is clearly
making it's way, it just takes time and I'm rolling with it even if I'd
like it move along a little faster!!! Hope all is well with you, and as always- thanks again for the support!!!!!!"

Best,
Jay
