Installed my new MOMO wheel from GP superstore tonight which compliments the new dash panel and gauges very well. Mechanical gauges by autogauge set in a dash panel from a Trans Am W/air so I'd have more holes to use for the gauges.(ditched the air in my car) Carbor fiber look on the panel without the price thanks to modern sticker paper. Shift light installed in a Tic-Toc tach where the clock once was. I've been working on this setup for a while but now that the steering wheel is installed it comes together well. Figured I'd post up a couple pics so people could see an alternative to the "engine turned" TA dash panel look in a Firebird.

Do you still use tapes?
CD players are pretty cheap now......

The dash looks MUCH better now!

Just messin with ya!, but I saw the tape player and had to ask...

Yes sir! still rocking the cassette player, and I'll use it till it breaks. Most of my time in the car the past few years has been on track so a little music in staging/return roads etc. is about all I need. The sidepipes provide their own music on track.

Looks very nice and it still has a factory vibe.

it does look good, and I agree with Steve, it still has a nice factory look, almost like a factory upgrade....

Thanks, here's a couple pics that show the sticker material and shift light into stock type Tic-Tock tach. Interior pics are hard to take with lousy light and no color, just black grey and chrome. Looks much better in person.

I agree, I like the shift light placement. Where'd you find the dash tape?

Poncho, I bought the sticky vinyl in one of the auto chain stores in the "tuner" section LOL

Dropit, that wheel has a nice feel, you'll like it. How about putting it on Dreamsicle?

Here's a pic of the controls for the shift light. I wanted to be able to control the brightness and change shift points without being upside down under the dash so I decided not to hide them.
