I'm in the market for a nice 5-spoke 3 piece wheel, but I need to find one in an 18" that will clear C6 Z06 brakes on a 78-87 GM G body... I talked to HRE and they said they can do it. Anyone know who else makes a wheel that can? I'm looking at 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with approx. 4.625" backspace (I'll know more when I put the body back on). I have been lookin at ZE forged, Intro, DPE, I forged, and HRE. I had a set of Simmons but the calipers hit the bolts on the back of the wheels and I didn't want to use spacers so I sold 'em. These are for an 87 Buick GN with AFX spindles and C6 Z06 brakes all around. I would even consider a nice 2 piece wheel to keep the price down if I could find one that would fit. Any input is appreciated.

I'll probably want a black center with a polished lip as deep as possible. Or maybe all polished, depending upon style. My top wheel pix:

1.HRE 541, 545, or 547R
2. I Forged Aero or Classic
3. ZE Forged Boost or Tach
3. DPE R05 Variant S
4. Intro GT sport or ID 323

If any distributors on here could PM me pricing so I can figure out that part too, I would appreciate it. I WILL be making a purchase by Feb. at the latest, just planning ahead.

FIKSE (http://www.fikse.com/) can do it.

We (Intro) can do it as well. Let me know if you have any questions or need a price quote. Take a look at our GT Sport wheel shown on the Intro Wheels website. We could do the wheel in either a 2 piece or a 3 piece. We can powdercoat the center if you want that as well. If you're interested in a different Intro or ID wheel let me know.

Tony, thanks I looked at Fikse, but I didnt really see a style I liked. There are a few GN's with FM5s running around and they look too much like an american racing wheel to me on the GN... The wheel itself is sharp though.

Boesch, I PMd you. Pricing would be cool! Thanks guys keep it comin'

Did you look at Kenisis?

I almost forgot about Kinesis. Thanks Tyler! Now the million dollar question: Which vendors carry HRE, Kinesis or Iforged wheels? I'm trying to acquire pricing information on all of the wheels I'm interested in to aid in the decision making process.

Thanks!
