The PT part probably ends there although it has fairly big brakes, Hilborn setup was converted to EFI and is built like a tank-:)

I never wanted a deuce roadster until I saw this ones unique rear styling...very compact...and its stance.

Steve Moal built this car and his frames have race car type strength.

Nice to know beauty isn't just skin deep on this one.

Owned by Bob Dron who has some great rides from what I've seen.

I found some more info on it tonight and they designed it to look channeled but it isn't.

Lengthened wheelbase also.

That's the only type of roadster I like. A little bit of old school with a new school stance all wrapped up in a classy looking package. That one is perfect. If I had to do a roadster....that's how it would look.

The rear of that car is slick.

That car is on the cover of my California Car Cover catolog. Very nice indeed!

I prefer hard tops over roadsters and I'm not a fan of those hub caps AT ALL but that is a very clean build.

I was surprised to see those hubcaps also ...part of the 'old school retro

theme' I guess.

Car is a driver which is nice to see.

Steve Moal does incredible work. He's on my short list of people I'd want to build a car for me should I suddenly have unlimited funds and a really big garage.

There are a number of kits for Deuce roadsters of course...there should be one in steel with this channeled look, the rounded, compact tail treatment and this ones longer wheelbase along with a stout frame as the building blocks for the do-it-yourselfer IMHO.
