View Full Version : Photoshop needed for grill and headlight area on a '69 Camaro

Got another project in the mix, a '69 Camaro and wondered how the headlights would look if they were pushed more toward the edge like the 67-68's which is a great look. It may not look good on a '69 but its worth a try. Obviously they will have to be reduced in size which is fine.

I appreciate the help,

Don, thank you very much.

I like it.

I'm not saying for sure we'd do it but ...

What do you think Don, yey or nay?

Definitely different...give it a little time. It starts to grow on you.
It sure would confuse hardcore Camaro people.:hmm: :naughty:
It makes the front of the car seem wider.

Don, it does grow on you.

Most gearheads probably wouldn't notice.

I've never seen it done.

Maybe it has been, if not someone will.

IMHO.

You do great work:cool:

Just for fun...and those of you that get excited about altering the look of a classic muscle car...don't look. You might be scarred for life. Relocated the Sport lights at the bottom swapped with openings under the bumper...

Don,

One more ..(I won't promise that I won't ask again -:) )

How about cleaning up the front end further by removing the driving lights and those little open slots you relocated?

Thanks again,

Honestly I say nay.It looks to much like a Cuda Front.Leave it the way it is or do an RS/SS front.JMHO:poke:

Don,

Thanks again your work looks great.

Very clean design.

I checked your wagon site too...very nice.

The RS lights are also pushed to the edge it seems.

Stock and photoshopped all look good.

It's a great country:twothumbs

I'm an Oldsmobile guy, I probably never would have noticed the first 2 alterations.

But the last one with no running lights or vents, no good.
If the front of the car were a face, it's expression would be 'duhhhhhh' It just looks boring and dopey. Just my opinion.

I agree, I'm all for cleaning up clutter but now it just has a blank look. I guess somethings shouldn't be messed with.

it looks like a nova to me with the headlights pushed out like that.

Well, it is clean but it is plain I agree.

Some will like it some won't.

I had some other ideas to add some styling components back into the

front end but Don has donated enough of his time already.

Photoshopping is a great tool.

I'll bet the original designers tried a lot of different similar looks

to what Don did and some liked what they ended up building and

some didn't, which is always the way of course.
