View Full Version : Drop spindles vs. springs with aftermarket suspension

Just curious which others prefer on their car? I have installed the SC&C Stage II kit on the front of my '87 Olds Cutlass and currently have stock height Moog 5662 springs in there. I was going to cut these once I get everything back in the car but was also thinking of just swapping in a set of drop spindles.

Good idea? Bad idea?

Andrew, I guess it depends on the brake situation up front too. But I have heard not so good things about drop spindles. I'm going to be in the same situation and the Eibach/Hotchkis springs don't give enough drop for me, so I'm looking into the 2" or 3" drop springs from OPG.
