Has anyone on the forum mini tubbed a 2nd Gen Nova?? I'm about to start getting some head way on my 71 and am curious how it will look on that body style. I just don't wan't to have the whole thing done and welded together, and regret not tubbing it.

Pics are what i'm after. Thanks in advance guys! -Rich

Hey grump, what size ET radial is that under there? I would also like to minitub mine, but want to make sure it is worth it. I need a bigger tire than my current 28x9 slick.
would you measure the width of the wheel tub for me ( fender lip straight back).
Thanks in advance
Steve

nice work grump. how is the increase in traction working for you?

heres my 72 project Rich.
Nice thing about a mini tub is it gives you tire size freedom. We can go back to a smaller size any time.

The tire is a 325/50 on a ten inch wheel. And from the fender lip is about 14 1/2 inches

The DSE tubs save alot of time and work. They didn't have them when I did my car but I have since used several sets. Takes alot of work out of it not having to salvage your old inner well and such.

Theres a link to my car in my sig if you want to see a 315/35/17 under the rear of one.

Good luck.

Thanks Steve. Those 68-72 Novas look killer with the right stance and some big shoes tucked under them.
