Was wondering if anyone knows if 18x10 TTII's can be widened to 18x11? In Dec. 04 issue of Mustang & Fords there is a 65 fastback running TTII's 18x11 wheels with 335-30-18's on the back, but when I contacted American Racing they said their biggest custom 18" was 10" wide. Any thoughts or any other wheels this size comparable in price?
Thanks
Jeff

try Colorado custom (http://coloradocustom.com) and Intro wheels (http://www.introwheels.com) prices range from 1200 -1900 a set. During a group purchase a set of 18 x 12 and 17 x 8 cost me $1400.

Yeah, I'm with Sir Speedy, the Godfather of Go, the King of Kinetics, the Master of Motivation: Mr Quick.

18x11 is a BIG wheel and Torq Thrusts are cast--not the best combination. So go with a billet wheel that looks like a TT such as Colorado Custom or Intro.

Looked at the Colorado Customs, but they're out of my price range about 1000.00 ea for a 18x12. Liked the Intro V rods, but I didn't see anything bigger than a 18x10. I'll keep looking. I might be better off running a 295-35-18, seems like theirs alot of 18x10's out there. Just had 315 or 335 on the mind.

Mrquick what wheels are you running?

That car belongs to Mark Giles (Tig man) he roams around but haven't heard much of him lately. Its tubbed and he is running 335 18's I believe...could be 17's? They did a cool feature on his car on Dream Car garage.

I think you can purchse copies of the show you can check on there web site. The car sounds awesome. One of the shows host (Tom) gets to drive certain cars and usually yaps all through the segment but this one he lets the car talk for itself...they probably had 20 high speed drive bys. heres the link to the episode.
