View Full Version : Hard Time Finding 18" Wheels...1971 Camaro

I want a mesh wheel but they are for Japanese and Euro cars only it seems. There are tons available for BMWs.
I hear that spacers or adapters are bad.....but how bad can they be? It looks like I can get the wheels I want but I'll need a 1" spacer/adapter.
The dude at the wheel shop kept yapping about new studs and hubcentric spacers. My brain hurts.
The fitment databases laugh when I drop down the menu and look for 1971, usually 1982 is the earliest camaro that I can search and selection is wack. I don't want Foose, Boze, TT, etc. I want Mesh - going for more of a pro-touring car.

I found the Boze Forged Pro-Touring but they are $710 for an 18X8!
I need to get $300 or below - I know beggars can't be choosers, but dang!

Boze, Fikse, Fesler etc.......Also check out newstalgiawheel.com, they have alot of differnet wheels. Other distributors may chime in as well. Not to many cheap wheel co's out there anymore though.
Good luck!

We have mesh styles in our 3 piece series as well, however I don't think it will fall into your price range.

How about this wheel? Of course not in the gold color, unless you like that color. It also available polished, brushed, or powder coated another color.
550/ea I can get these for you for 550/ea. Let me know.

Hahahaahha - get this - 4 one-piece 18"X8.5 wheels, 40 series Toyo tires, mounted/balanced, nitrogen filled, and shipped to my front door with a 1-yr warranty and fitment gaurantee......................$1,205.
I spent a week online looking and came across these, they said it was the last set of polished in the house (prolly tells everyone that). The deals are out there, you just have to dig deep.
www.wheelmax.com ask for Tee, tell him Gordon sent ya.
You need to do your homework on backspacing, offset, and wheel size before you get the debit card out though. I have two great sites for this info I can post if you need it.
