I am about to install a DSE kit in a '69 Camaro for the first time in one of these cars. But, I want to make sure the kit is compatible with what the customer has already brought me. I realize thekit will require moving the shocks inboard and repositioning the shackle location on the rear-end housing. So, with that being said, I am working with a Competition Engineering kit that moves the leaf spring shackles inboard about 4", giving me 2.5" inches of more tire clearance and a Jegsters shock relocation kit which moves them to the inside of the rear framerail. I would assume the DSE mini-tub (3"kit btw) would allow for a variety of changes and I can't see where the above mentioned items would interfere at all. Opinions? -And also, who on here is a DSE vendor for when I purchase the DSE kit? Jabin

Hi Jabin,
The CE kit will give you abit more room but the tub will put you right flush with the rear frame. So it would be unused. Are you using the CE weld in subframe connectors too? The type you mount the front spring eye to.
I don't see anything that would interfere with the install.

the jegster shock relocation kit may be the only problem unless its just the steel pipe with the tabs you weld on. its set up for a drag car though so you may be limited on lowering the car any without a short shock travel and a harsh ride.

Cool, guys...I have to check on the shock relocation kit-I want to leave some tuning room for adjusting the ride quality if I can. The CE kit is a bolt-in and yes AJ you are correct about the style of the Jegsters bar also.
