Seeing some of the high dollar 1st gen builds where the the shops recess and shape the front and rear bumpers of the car into the body work, along with this https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35479
recent build has gotten me to wondering what a steel bumper 2nd gen would look like with the same treatment (as the ecovette).
Some one has got to have done it before! I have yet to come across any images. I've had my eye on these cars due to the affordability but can barely get myself beyond their honkin' huge bumpers.
Has anyone done this? any pit falls? Links that can be passed along of those that have pics available?

thanks.

p.s. heck, even a '80s g-body regal might look great w/ the bumpers sectioned and cut

I dont think we can bring that much back with our big bumpers. A photo shop would be nice to see first though!

for completeness on this thread I wanted to post a picture from Boyd's G/28 SEMA thread.
