do your DSE/Koni shocks make noise?

rear mini tub shocks, i cannot get it to make the rattle noise no matter what i do sitting still. i can however make it do it on the road over most bumps. its driving me crazy, i checked for anything loose or contacting the body in the trunk and under the car and found nothing. i am wondering if it is the right rear shock since it has the hime (sp?) joint stule ends on it. i need to being my chassis ears home from work and see what i can find, also switch shocks from side to side and see if it changes. just kinda wondering if anyone has had a problem with there DSE/Koni shocks.:banghead:

Are they bearing or poly mount? If bearing mount then yes, you should hear them a bit.

bearing.....but its only from one side of the car.

Years ago I had a brand new rear Koni shock straight out of the box that knocked over some bumps when installed on my car. Couldn't find anything loose. Returned the shock to be checked. Koni sent a replacement. No more noise!
