18x9 or9.9 front of a 69

has anybody here tried to run a 18x 9 or 9.5 on front of a 69 camaro ? i have the short steering arms dse coilover conversion and their upper and lower arms. thanks

I have a 17 x 9.5 z06 wheel with 255/40/17 tire on the front of my 69'. Its lowered about 3" with Hotchkis sway bar and stock control arms.

thanks how tight is it would you have room for a 265 or 275 ?

yea i can fit a 275 but id have to modify the adapter to bring the wheel in closer a little bit. But it will rub no matter what.

what backspacing do you have on that 9.5" front wheel?

I am thinking about running 265's on a 9.5

Its a Regular 17 x 9.5 C5 Z06 wheel with +56mm offset (7.46" i believe) and i have a 2" adapter so that brings the bs to 5.5" we will say.

does anybody know what the max backspace is that we can get away with i know i can't go more than 4in on the offset preferably 3.5
