I just made an observation today & thought I’d ask you guys what you thought.
Is it just me or does the AMC Javelin look like a distant cousin of a 71-73 Mustang Sportroof?
Does anyone agree with me or am I crazy?

Well, maybe I’m just crazy.....lol

I don't think they look exactly alike but, a few things around the cars & general shape just remind me of one another.

I use to be a BIG Chevy guy until lately........now I like the Muscle cars off the beat'n path from what everyone else has.
I'm really diggin the the AMC's, 71-73 Mustangs, Cougars, Mavricks, Darts, Dusters, 71-72 Road Runners, etc.

You're not crazy. Just like in today's world, a lot of cars were similar to others. In fact the original AMC AMX concept car looked very close to the Pantera.

Using AMC and Ford or more exactly Javelin and Mustang in the same sentence is heresy. AMC = POS..... plain and simple.

You know a Camaro looks alot like a Comet if you squint.:smoke:

Get the feeling I HATE all things AMC?

Yeah and fat chicks are nice to talk to but I won't be taking one for a ride.....
